Charlotte Marin leads an outwardly conventional life. She lives in a comfortable suburban neighbourhood, has a caring and devoted boyfriend, and a job she enjoys at a local airline. No one would suspect that Charlotte has been hiding a web of lies and secrets that are in danger of coming undone.
Following a tragic death, Charlotte develops a dangerous coping mechanism for her grief. She seems to have her dark ritual under control until she meets Abel Moretti on a flight to Seattle.
