A crafty Christmas • There is nothing quite like a home that is beautifully decorated at Christmas. Having handmade decorations adorning your home will help to make your Christmas even more special and add that little personal touch to the spirit of the season.
The Artful Dodger • Oh dear, a Christmas article. That’s enough to scare this scrapbooker silly. How do I talk about Christmas layouts, when I generally avoid creating them? The colour combination of red and green can, at times, make me gag a little and I am sure I am not the only one who feels this way. I will be the first to admit that I find clique colour combinations a little creatively restrictive. Are you like me? Do you dodge scrapping Christmas layouts?

WHEN NEGATIVES ARE POSITIVES • When we buy chipboard it usually comes in a flat sheet. The shapes that we want are pre-cut so we can just push them out to use them. But there is always some waste left. Surely we can do something with this. Of course we can!
Layout Kriss Kringle • For a bit of holiday fun, we asked some contributors to make a layout on what Christmas means to them. And then, as a scrapbooking version of Kriss Kringle, they received someone else’s layout back! Check it out and then organise a layout KK among your friends!
CREATING STICKERS AND BORDERS • You can turn almost any digital element into a digital sticker. This technique is called adding stroke. It is so easy and simple to do, and you can turn text into word art and then add the stroke for a border around it. You can also use the ‘add stroke’ function to thicken up a thin font. This technique is also great for putting a border/frame around a photo.

New year’s resolutions • This year I decided to document my New Year goals on a scrapbook page. I have set myself goals in the past; most of us have set a goal at some point in our lives. I felt my life was getting a little cluttered – not just physically but mentally also. That endless list of ‘to-do’s’, people waiting for you, things to pick up, places to be etc. It was time to do something about it, and make my goals more tangible.
