Trend spotting • Knowing the latest trends will keep your scrapbooking up to date and give you endless inspiration. This issue we’re spotting cursive script!

Die-cut backgrounds • The New Year usually means resolutions detailing how we might like to improve ourselves or our situations. Well, how about taking the time to do the same with your scrapping? Use this as a great opportunity to try new things and experiment with your scrapbooking ideas and perhaps even let go a little and just have more fun!

Using watercolours • One of the hottest trends in scrapbooking right now is the use of watercolours in your projects. Today I want to talk about and explore the possibilities with this versatile and user-friendly medium, adapting traditional watercolour techniques to your projects for a sensational, customised look.

Scrappy New Year’s Resolutions • It’s the time of year to make resolutions for the twelve months ahead. They can be the golden oldies like losing weight, quitting smoking or learning a language, or something quirky and individual. But how about your papercraft? Why not join us by making one or more of these scrappy resolutions?

By The Sea Book & Box • This is the perfect time of year to create beach-themed projects, especially with all the summery photos you’re probably taking! Over the next few issues I’d like to teach you how to make a fantastic star album and box using one of my favourite Graphic 45 collections.

Beyond the page • Try your hand at these off-the-page projects to add even more dimension to your papercrafting!

All natural colouring • I recently experimented with making my own pigment powders by dehydrating then grinding various fruits and vegetables. It was fun, easy and, oddly, also deeply satisfying.

Fresh out of the box • Most would know my love for trying anything new and then taking that product and using it in many different ways. I love to find new and exciting ways to use my products, getting more out of them than just the way that they were intended. I am excited to share with you my take on using Lux Mix micas and glitters and Spoonful embossing powder by Stampendous.
