Colour connection • I love colour. I live a colourful life and am surrounded by the lush beauty of our environment, which displays colour in abundance. I am inspired by the colours in my world, and for these reasons I am primarily a colour-driven scrapbooker. I cannot create without bright colours and, as a scrapbooker, I am often surprised that people are not using bolder colours more in their layouts.

Comic book scrapping • Ever since I was a little girl, I have always had a fascination with comics. As an avid cartoonist myself, I would constantly be creating my own comics too – a pastime I greatly enjoyed, particularly in my teenage years, and have now introduced into my scrapbooking.

Scrap the music • Whether it’s being in the mosh pit at a rock concert, sitting on a picnic blanket at A Day on the Green or simply watching a school concert, most of us attend music performances in one form or another. Although these events vary enormously, they all have similar obstacles to overcome when trying to get decent photos of them to scrap.

Let's talk colour • Playing with colour is the most fun you can have when it comes to scrapbooking. I love splashing it around on my pages to see where it takes me. However, I do know that some of you out there really struggle with it. To tell the truth, you can over-think the colour scheme and cause yourself needless creative stress.
